It's not like me to lack for words… I just want you to know that I'm still here, that you're still on my mind and in my heart, and that I care for you and your family very, very much. And… I'd been trying to wait for the right time to say this, but “the right time” might not even be a thing that exists, so… I just want you to know that I was so incredibly touched that you reached out to me when you did. I know it's such a small thing in the face of all else, but it was deeply meaningful to me, and you should know that.
